The Experience
The Sciences
The Arts
East Lobby 1st Floor. Three large, watercolor brains nested together on a blue and gold triangle surrounded by red and orange paper flowers. The color choices and theme were inspired by the traditional Mexican La Virgin de Guadalupe iconography.
Scientists lack strong iconography, which is why I created this piece. The two sagittal views of the brain represent the sciences and the arts. The center brain in the inferior orientation represents the experience of the sciences, arts, and reality as a whole-- our view of which is always, by default, inferior.
